I'm New Here
A Note from Pastor Randy Bailey
The Ranch Community Church is a place where you can come as you are, experience authentic worship, and hear biblical teaching that applies to everyday life.
We offer an exciting Children's Ministry where your kids can encounter Christ's love while experiencing an adventure they will never forget. Our Student Ministry helps your middle school and high school age students establish real friendships, grow in Christ, and get equipped for a fulfilling life. We take every opportunity to help you take the next step in your journey with Christ.
At The Ranch, our mission is to "connect lives to the heart of Christ by serving people in our community and the world." From the communities of McKinney to the poor in North Dallas and beyond, or sharing the gospel with the people of Peru, or feeding the hungry children in North Africa, we have a place for you to serve.
Come visit us soon. Our people will give you a warm welcome.

Worship Style
In today's culture, music is a powerful mechanism. Think about how often songs are playing around you throughout the course of your day. For example, the alarm is set to music, the docking station for your mobile device is strategically placed in the bathroom to assist you in getting ready for the day, the selection of songs on the way to school must cater to both children in order for there to be a smooth ride, the speakers in the elevator render a catchy saxophone arrangement of that song you loved from the eighties, and the headphones were left plugged into the computer at your desk from the day before. Everyone loves music, because music elicits a response. You choose various types of music based upon the mood you are in, and you respond accordingly. Music is a powerful mechanism!
At The Ranch, we want to harness this mechanism to point you to Jesus. We want the melodies uttered in the midst of the sanctuary to bless the Lord continually. Week after week, we employ contemporary selections from artists like Hillsong, Paul Baloche, New Life Worship, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, and Kristian Stanfill all in an effort to furnish the mind and heart with the extensive truth of the Gospel. We would like to invite you to "…taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!" Psalm 34:8

Get Connected
Based on our core values, Small Groups exist to help people find discipleship, connection, community, support, and friendship. Understanding that there are different needs for people in our church body, we offer three different types of small groups at The Ranch Community Church.
Community Groups – These are groups that form close connections through Bible study, discipleship, regular fellowship, and service. These groups will be focused on reaching out to the community, house by house, meeting needs, sharing Christ and inviting them to know Christ and visit our church. Community Groups will meet for fellowship and Bible study twice a month, and will serve together on a regular basis. They will enter the community, minister to needs, and look for opportunities to share the gospel.
Life Groups – These are groups that meet regularly for the purpose of Bible study, encouragement, fellowship, accountability and personal discipleship. These groups may cover a specific book of the Bible, a topical study, or some other guided study.
Interest Groups – These are groups that meet largely for the purpose of fellowship around a particular interest or passion. Some examples of previous interest groups that have existed are men's softball or basketball teams, crafts or sewing groups, exercise/fitness, cooking, camping/hunting, motorcycle riding, etc. These groups may be long term or short term groups depending on the nature of the activity or interest.

Kids / Students Ministry
Preschool Ministry
Mission Statement: To introduce children to the love of our Creator God and to his Son Jesus. In our Preschool Ministry, we are excited to implement a new strategy for ministering to children, birth to four years. By the time a child reaches the age of five, we want them to understand these three basic truths.
1. God Made Me - Psalm 139:14 I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
2. God Loves Me - Romans 8:38-39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3. Jesus Wants to Be My Friend Forever - John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Elementary Ministry
Mission Statement: To grow kids in faith, wisdom, and relationship through Jesus Christ. At Ranch Community Church, our goal is to provide students with Biblical instruction, energetic worship, and small group community to helps them live out their faith in Christ. We have adopted a strategy that emphasizes three basic truths that we want kids to know at the end of fifth grade.
1. I can trust God no matter what (Faith)
2. I need to make the wise choice (Wisdom)
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated (Relationship)
These things start with a relationship with Christ, and so we work to provide regular, clear presentations of the gospel and offer opportunities for kids to make the decision to be followers of Christ. We want to offer children the opportunity to build relationships with one another and with adult leaders. So in addition to weekly large group time, we have strategically implemented a small group time after the large group lesson, so that kids can work together to learn how to live out what they have learned. Lastly, we want to partner with parents to reinforce what we are teaching and bridge the gap between home and church. We do this through our Ranch Community Kids Facebook page, Monthly Parent Cue, and Weekly God Time Cards.
Student Ministry
The CREW student ministry is one of the most active, vibrant and friendly youth ministries around. It provides 6th through 12th grade students in our church as well as our community with a safe place to grasp the Word of God and put His Word into mission. We exist to bring students into a deep relationship with Christ that calls them to be His disciples. We accomplish this through weekly and monthly events intended to help our students become the followers of Christ that they are intended to be.
Mission:
Connect students with Christ, peers, and adult mentors to help guide them in their spiritual well being.
Guide students to learn from the Word of God as they explore what the Word says and how it can be applied to everyday life.
Engage students in the Worship of God by helping them understand that this is their expression of love toward God himself.
Equip students to serve the mission of God by discovering how God has gifted them to serve.
